Compact Flash
Compact flash is widely use for flash memory primarily for SLR digital camera. Older model may use this card also. One old model that I know used this type of flash memory is old Canon Ixus model. Now, compact digital camera is using SD card or memory stick duo mostly. DSLR camera is still using compact flash card for its writing and reading performance. Compact flash has higher performance compared to other memory device for now. So that, to balancing with DSLR speed performance, they are still use compact flash for this device. But, I think that doesn’t matter since this memory usage is not much affect to its body, refer to that this camera already has big enough body for this compact flash.
