Computer Networking

I have a computer network on my rent house. I use my network to share internet connection with my friends. I use wired network since we just use PC for our network. I use D-Link switch and Linksys ADSL modem. I guess my modem supported router function since it can be connected to my switch to share my internet connection, but if you need to share with laptop through wireless network then you may need wireless router to connect your laptop to internet connection. I prefer to choose networking peripheral from Linksys or D-Link. There are some brands which have cheaper price, but I don’t really trust them and I will choose others even their price higher as long as they have better quality.
